In the global economic landscape, clusters and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) play a key role in the green transition by fostering growth. Over the past decade, the GREEN ECONOMY has become a priority for most of the EU clusters, SMEs, and startups, driving sustainable development through innovation. This emphasis on sustainability helps create a more inclusive and equitable society, enhancing the EU’s sustainability and resource efficiency. The EU’s «Green Deal» aims to transform the economy into a competitive, resource-efficient powerhouse through a clean, circular economy, biodiversity restoration, and pollution reduction. The ENDURANCE project will support EU clusters by providing the knowledge, tools, and inspiration needed to create market-based solutions with environmental, social, and economic benefits.
That’s why the first scenario of the ENDURANCE acceleration program will be focused on #Entrepreneurship and Innovation for Sustainability. It is like strapping a rocket to entrepreneurial innovation, giving cluster managers and SMEs the superpowers they need to grow sustainably and scale up. The program aims to make clusters sustainability wizards, weaving green magic into corporate strategies for a smooth transition to a green economy. Scenario #Entrepreneurship and Innovation for Sustainability will feature three mini scenarios focusing on sustainable business models, creativity and design thinking, and Environmental, Social, and Governance strategies.
